The grant if awarded is a joint venture between the grant scheme and the landlord, it will fund 50% of the overall cost up to a maximum amount of £10000.00 eg £10000.00 would require a joint investment from the landlord of £10000.00. this amount of funding allows for a major refurbishment from the roof, rewire, damp proof course, re-plastering, windows and doors, joinery throughout, central heating, decoration, new kitchen and bathroom, carpets altogether a completely refurbished show home for only 50% investment, the main clause is that the property has to be made available to rent for the next three years.
