With our plastering services we pride ourselves on working to the highest standards, offering a polite, professional service. All work undertaken will be completed to your full satisfaction, you’ll be left with beautiful plasterwork, and a clean tidy work area, we will also dispose of any waste that is generated by our work during the process.

Most common internal plastering

Our most common services include skimming, dry lining, patching and repairs and covering of aertex and textured paints. ( see below )

Skimming:

Skimming is the finishing coat of plaster that makes your existing surfaces smooth and flat. This can either be a re-skim, for example skimming over tired plasterwork, or skimming new work such as plasterboard or render.

Dry Lining:

This involves lining the area ( room, ceiling or both ) with plasterboard either securing to joists, stud partitioning or new block work using a drywall bonding adhesive. This process takes much less time, creates less mess and is cheaper than traditional sand and cement or other wet products, for example browning, tough coat etc.

Aertex & Textured paint concealment:

Depending on the depth of the aertex or textured paint we use an undercoat plaster, to level the surfaces before skimming. Please be aware that some aertex and textured paints ( mainly pre 1980s ) contain Asbestos. From a small patch up to a complete room no job is to small all big. Our work can be seen from a complete domestic conversion and extensions to commercial buildings inc local pubs. We have plastered porches and box rooms, hall, stairs and landings and entire houses

Health & Safety

Whilst most jobs are safe we always request proper supervision of any children or pets, we assess every job and keep you informed of any special requirements inc restriction of access when we are working with scaffolds and ladders etc
